Billing and plans

Do I pay for every person?

No. Viewers and app users have no seat fee. Team and above have no publisher seat fees. Resource usage still applies.

Does every artifact need a plan?

No. Your plan covers the workspace. Free supports ten published artifacts; paid plans have no per-artifact charge.

Is hosting unlimited?

No. Hosting draws from the included dollar allowance at published resource rates. Further use requires additional usage you authorize, and remains subject to service limits.

What happens at my spending limit?

New chargeable work is paused or rejected as needed. Your access rules stay enforced. Stored content is not made public or immediately deleted.

Do I need to buy AI from Matterhall?

No. Publishing what you already made with AI doesn’t require any AI usage from Matterhall.

Can a busy individual stay on Pro?

Yes. Using more resources doesn’t force you onto a collaboration plan.

How does annual billing work?

The subscription is paid upfront for the year, which works out to two months free. Your hosting allowance still refreshes monthly. Authorized additional usage is billed monthly, possibly on a separate invoice.
